March of the Aryans takes us into the days of the Aryan era in India. Because of their long-standing association with our country, the Aryans, as a race, have shaped and defined a major chunk of our culture and history. The book goes back into rewind mode, to create an imaginative visualisation of what their life and times must have been like. The story involves an impressive amount of research and creative reconstruction on the part of the author. He dwells into the possible reasons of the mass Aryan emigration from our country, and talks about how they ventured out into new and unexplored lands.March of the Aryans is not a typical dry historical account of events, the author weaves an interesting storyline into his narration. The plot has a variety of characters like the hermit Bharat, who urges for unity, equality, dignity among all; the peace-loving Kashi, after whom the modern-day city of Varanasi is named; and the god Sindhu Putra, who wishes to spread the message of love to everyone. It is thus a tale of gods and kings, battles and love, and documents the birth and death of civilisations. The book was published by Penguin India in the year 2012, and is available in paperback.
