About A Twenty Year Retrospective
In association with its original Japanese publisher, Treville, this Nazraeli Press edition of Michael Kenna: A Twenty Year Retrospective. This updated edition features a larger format than previous editions. As well as high fidelity tritones printed 1:1 from original prints. It serves as a companion book to Kennas Volume Two, published by Nazraeli Press in 2004. “Michaels photographs are islands of serenity and silence in a loud and chaotic world. They speak not only of the mystery of this world, but also the human condition of loneliness and isolation, of love and enchantment. His prints are exquisitely seductive, as well as spiritual experiences, akin to poetry or music.” -Ruth Bernhard
