About
Daniel Gordon cuts, builds, experiments and photographs. Gordons relationship to photography is intrinsically linked to his working process. Like a painter or sculptor, he has an intense studio practice. He imagines and creates his images from scratch, literally and figuratively.
New Canvas, arguably the most comprehensive monograph of the artist to date, focuses on both Gordons final works and the process that leads to the end result, by emphasizing on the different layers that compose his photographs.
